In a cooling chemical water system with a cooling tower, cool water is pumped away from the cooling tower and is circulated through the heat exchangers thereby cooling another medium and the water from the cooling tower becomes warmer. The warmed water then returns back to the cooling tower. In a Cooling Tower Chemical, the warmed water is sprayed downward, and the air is blown upward with a fan. As the warmed water droplets contact the air, some of the water droplets evaporate, and the air absorbs the heat released from this evaporation, thereby lowering the temperature of the remaining water. SA – 500 is a liquid formulation of cationic polymer. This product is particularly effect in recirculation cooling water
systems. This polymeric quaternary compound retains its effect charge over a white pH range. This product control

A BOARD SPECTRUM MICRO BIOCIDE CONCENTRATE
SA – 500 is a polymeric cationic micro biocide concentrate that can be diluted with water to formulate micro biocide
of any desired lower concentration. Such micro biocide are effective in controlling the growth of algae, bacteria and
fungi in recirculation cooling water system and the growth of slime forming bacteria and fungi in heat exchangers.
They are also effective in controlling the growth of algae in swimming pools, holding ponds and reservoirs and the
growth of bacteria and fungi in holding and processing tanks of industrial fresh Water systems. SA – 500 micro
biocide can be used in both acidic and alkaline systems and, unlike conventional quats, SA – 500 does not cause
foam. It is non-volatile and therefore is not lost by evaporation.
